Role Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including:

  • Managing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration for live projects ranging from £5m to £50m.
  • Supporting the delivery of landmark schemes.
  • Overseeing budgeting, value engineering, and cost control to ensure commercial success.
  • Preparing detailed reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Developing strong client and stakeholder relationships across the region.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 2+ years of PQS / consultancy experience (client-side or cost management).
  • MRICS or working toward chartered status.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction methodology, procurement, and cost control.
  • Experience working under JCT and NEC contract frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing clients and consultants.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and cost management tools (e.g., CostX, CADMeasure, iTWO).
  • Ambition to progress into senior roles and lead major projects.
