The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion and client handover. You'll play a key role from tender stage, working alongside the bid and pre-construction teams to influence methodology, buildability, logistics and programme strategy before leading the project through delivery. Working closely with commercial, design and operational teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the exceptionally high standards the business is known for. You'll also become the principal point of contact for clients, consultants and key stakeholders, helping to develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business and strengthen the company's reputation.
About You
You'll have a proven track record delivering major construction projects for a recognised main contractor and be comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams on complex design & build schemes. You'll be commercially astute, an excellent communicator and a confident leader who enjoys taking ownership of projects while creating a collaborative, high-performing culture on site. Experience within industrial, logistics, commercial or large-scale mixed-use developments would be highly advantageous, together with a strong understanding of programme management, value engineering, risk mitigation and client management. You'll ideally hold a degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or Quantity Surveying, together with excellent knowledge of ASTA Powerproject and modern construction methodologies.
