The Opportunity

A strong opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established building consultancy in Oxford. This role offers the chance to lead projects, manage key client relationships and play an active role in shaping commercial outcomes across a varied project portfolio.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
  • Managing projects from feasibility through to final account.
  • Preparing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and tender documentation.
  • Providing procurement advice and administering contracts.
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a commercial lead.
  • Supporting junior QS team members through mentoring and guidance.
  • Producing clear, accurate commercial reports and recommendations.

About You

  • Strong consultancy or client-side quantity surveying experience.
  • MRICS qualified or working toward chartership.
  • Confident managing projects independently and leading clients.
  • Solid knowledge of JCT and NEC contract forms.
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication skills.
  • Ambitious and keen to progress within a consultancy environment.
