Senior Contracts Manager

Swindon, Wiltshire

£70,000 – £80,000/annum

Our client, a specialist contractor have been delivering groundworks and civil engineering services for over 40 years.

As the business continues to grow, they\’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Contracts Manager to join our operational team and help shape the future of our projects across M4/M5 corridor.

The Role

As a Senior Contracts Manager, you’ll take the lead on a portfolio of live sites – managing teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the standards our clients and our teams expect. You’ll play a key part in day-to-day operations and longer-term planning, bringing your experience and leadership to support site teams and guide projects from pre-start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple groundwork and infrastructure projects across residential sites
  • Support, guide, and mentor site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Work closely with the commercial teams to ensure delivery against programme and budget
  • Take responsibility for quality, compliance, and health & safety on all sites under your control
  • Contribute to pre-start meetings, tender reviews, resource planning, and monthly reporting
