Project Planner – Hayes/London
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a leading contractor delivering complex, large-scale projects across the UK. Based in Hayes, London, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and detail-focused professional to join a fast-paced, high-performing team on a long-term project.
The Role:
You will play a key role in supporting the planning and reporting functions of a major construction project. Reporting directly to the Managing Planner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and updating detailed project schedules, working closely with the site and commercial teams, and ensuring project progress is tracked and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject
- Analyse programme performance and progress
- Generate and present regular reports using MS Power BI
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Support risk and mitigation planning
- Work closely with the Managing Planner to support programme governance
Requirements:
- 8+ years of planning experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in construction
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, and Microsoft Power BI
- Proven ability to produce clear, concise progress and performance reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in data centres is advantageous but not essential
