We are seeking experienced HVAC Design Lead Engineers to take ownership of complex projects within the nuclear sector, driving high-quality, compliant, and innovative design solutions.
The Role
You will lead the design and delivery of HVAC systems for nuclear facilities, ensuring all solutions meet stringent safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for nuclear projects
- Ensure full compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions
- Carry out system analysis, modelling, and performance assessments
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers
Required Experience & Skills
- 5–10+ years' experience in HVAC design engineering
- Proven experience working on nuclear facility or highly regulated projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with advanced HVAC modelling/simulation software
- Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Professional Engineering status (or working towards) preferred
