A rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing internal construction team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, industrial and commercial sectors. This role offers the chance to provide senior commercial leadership across multiple concurrent developments, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments, fit-outs and associated infrastructure works. Acting as a trusted commercial partner to senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and in line with long-term business objectives.

Role Overview

  • Leading commercial strategy across multiple live projects.
  • Providing commercial advice and support to senior stakeholders.
  • Managing procurement strategy and contract selection.
  • Preparing, reviewing and maintaining project budgets and cost plans.
  • Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Negotiating contracts, supplier agreements and commercial terms.
  • Monitoring project costs, risks and financial performance.
  • Producing senior-level cost, risk and value reporting.
  • Supporting capital investment planning and future development projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and construction governance requirements.

About You

  • Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
  • Strong background managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent commercial, contractual and procurement knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced understanding of cost control, forecasting and risk management.
  • Experience administering and negotiating JCT contracts.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
