Walker & Sloan are working in partnership with a leading contractor to recruit a Contracts Manager for a series of high-profile refurbishment and extension projects across the leisure sector. These works form part of a major client account, with project values ranging from £1m to £3m and durations of up to 6 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and respected team delivering complex fit-outs and refurbishments across multiple UK sites. The role involves heavy travel and occasional stays away from home, so flexibility is a must. Ideal candidates will be based along the M4 / M5 corridor to allow easy access to sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of leisure refurbishment and extension projects.
• Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are completed on time and to specification.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes – strong programming skills are essential.
• Liaise with the client and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager on refurb/fit-out projects.
• Strong background in the leisure or hospitality sector preferred.
• Exceptional planning and programming capability.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively and stay away as needed.
• Full UK driving licence.

Package:

• Up to £75,000 basic salary (DOE)
