The Role: We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially minded Content & Social Lead to join the team and play a key role in growing and evolving our social and content offering. This is an exciting, fast-paced and varied role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You’ll shape content and social strategies for a mix of B2B and B2C brands, while also leading execution across channels, campaigns and agency marketing activity.

We’re ideally looking for someone with 8+ years’ experience in content and social roles, with proven strategic leadership experience and a strong understanding of how content drives brand growth and commercial results. You’ll know what makes content perform across different audiences and platforms, and stay close to emerging trends, channel developments and audience behaviours.

For the right person, this role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis and may particularly suit a permanent freelancer or someone looking for flexibility.

Your role in the Agency: As Content and Social Lead you will lead the planning, creation and delivery of content marketing and social media activity across both client accounts and the agency’s own marketing channels. This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, combining day-to-day social media execution with broader content leadership across web, email and editorial. You will shape the direction of content and social output, ensuring everything we produce is consistent, high quality, audience-focused and performance-driven.

Working closely with Client Services, Strategy and Creative teams, you will oversee content workflows from initial planning through to delivery, optimisation and reporting. You’ll play a key role in shaping content strategies across accounts, bringing fresh thinking, strong organisation and a proactive, solutions-led approach to the role.

Personal Skills: You’re a people person, who:

  • Has strong expertise in content marketing, with experience delivering engaging multi-channel content and social campaigns across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and email.
  • Confident leading end-to-end content delivery, from planning and briefing through to publishing, reporting and optimisation.
  • Able to demonstrate the impact of content activity and build compelling commercial cases that deliver value for clients.
  • A strong communicator, confident in developing strategies, presenting ideas and articulating recommendations clearly.
  • Creates polished, persuasive presentations and is comfortable presenting these directly to clients.
  • Builds strong, collaborative relationships with both clients and internal teams.
  • Experienced in analytics and performance reporting, using insights and data to inform strategy and drive continuous optimisation.
  • Keeps up to date with emerging social trends, platform developments and content best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for clients.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, demonstrates accountability and consistently delivers high-quality work.

Owns the strategy and delivery of the agency's own content marketing activity, supporting new business growth. Contributes to and authors new business proposals, pitch decks and strategic responses for content and social opportunities.
