Our housing client are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Damp & Mould Surveyor to play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, warm and healthy. In this role, you’ll investigate damp, condensation and mould issues, deliver technical solutions, manage remedial works, and provide clear support to residents throughout. This is an opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for improving housing standards to make a meaningful impact within a busy property and repairs environment.
What you'll be doing
- Provide a high-quality, customer-focused service to residents and stakeholders.
- Diagnose damp, condensation and mould issues, specifying and ordering remedial works.
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections and monitor contractor performance.
- Produce detailed technical reports, costings and recommendations.
- Support and manage disrepair cases, including surveys and documentation.
- Liaise closely with coordinators to manage workload and keep customers fully updated.
- Work with responsive repairs and major works teams to resolve complex property issues.
- Request and manage customer decants where required for health and safety reasons.
- Respond to tenant and colleague queries within required timescales.
