The Role: We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially minded Content & Social Lead to join the team and play a key role in growing and evolving our social and content offering. This is an exciting, fast-paced and varied role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You’ll shape content and social strategies for a mix of B2B and B2C brands, while also leading execution across channels, campaigns and agency marketing activity.
We’re ideally looking for someone with 8+ years’ experience in content and social roles, with proven strategic leadership experience and a strong understanding of how content drives brand growth and commercial results. You’ll know what makes content perform across different audiences and platforms, and stay close to emerging trends, channel developments and audience behaviours.
For the right person, this role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis and may particularly suit a permanent freelancer or someone looking for flexibility.
Your role in the Agency: As Content and Social Lead you will lead the planning, creation and delivery of content marketing and social media activity across both client accounts and the agency’s own marketing channels. This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, combining day-to-day social media execution with broader content leadership across web, email and editorial. You will shape the direction of content and social output, ensuring everything we produce is consistent, high quality, audience-focused and performance-driven.
Working closely with Client Services, Strategy and Creative teams, you will oversee content workflows from initial planning through to delivery, optimisation and reporting. You’ll play a key role in shaping content strategies across accounts, bringing fresh thinking, strong organisation and a proactive, solutions-led approach to the role.

- Has strong expertise in content marketing, with experience delivering engaging multi-channel content and social campaigns across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and email
- Confident leading end-to-end content delivery, from planning and briefing through to publishing, reporting and optimisation
- Able to demonstrate the impact of content activity and build compelling commercial cases that deliver value for clients
- A strong communicator, confident in developing strategies, presenting ideas and articulating recommendations clearly
- Creates polished, persuasive presentations and is comfortable presenting these directly to clients
- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with both clients and internal teams
- Experienced in analytics and performance reporting, using insights and data to inform strategy and drive continuous optimisation
- Keeps up to date with emerging social trends, platform developments and content best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for clients
- Communicates clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, demonstrates accountability and consistently delivers high-quality work

Content & Social Delivery:
- Leads the planning, management and delivery of content calendars across client accounts and owned channels
- Creates clear, engaging and on-brand copy across social media, web, email and editorial content
- Collaborates closely with the Creative/Studio team, developing effective briefs and ensuring all assets align with strategic and brand requirements
- Oversees content scheduling, publishing and quality control across all platforms
- Supports community management activity where required, ensuring timely, professional and on-brand engagement
- Maintains exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent and aligned to brand guidelines
Content Marketing & Campaigns:
- Leads the planning and development of insight-led content including articles, playbooks, campaign assets and website copy
- Ensures all content activity aligns with wider marketing, brand and commercial objectives
- Supports integrated campaign planning across organic and paid social activity
- Owns the agency’s email marketing and LinkedIn newsletter activity, including copywriting, briefing, optimisation and performance review
Performance, Reporting & Optimisation:
- Owns content and social performance tracking, reporting and ongoing optimisation
- Works closely with the Head of Digital to ensure robust measurement and tracking to understand the impact of paid, social and content activity across digital sites
- Oversees reporting dashboards and performance reporting tools, including Looker Studio
- Uses data and insight to identify opportunities, inform strategic recommendations and improve campaign performance
- Supports and advises on paid social activity, including LinkedIn Ads and collaboration with media teams
