A specialist high-end residential contractor is looking to recruit a Working Foreman to support the delivery of bespoke residential projects across Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. Working on luxury refurbishments, extensions, heritage properties and bespoke homes, you will combine hands-on trade involvement with site supervision responsibilities. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to take ownership of projects while remaining actively involved in delivery.
Role Overview
- Supervising day-to-day site operations
- Remaining hands-on with construction activities where required
- Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades
- Managing site quality and workmanship
- Monitoring project progress against programme
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Liaising with clients and consultants
- Managing deliveries and site logistics
- Supporting the Site Manager and Contracts Manager
- Resolving site issues as they arise
- Maintaining site records and documentation
- Assisting with project handovers
About You
- Strong trade background essential
- Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Foreman or Lead Carpenter
- High-end residential experience preferred
- Excellent eye for detail and finishing quality
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to lead small site teams
- Good communication skills
- SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
