A strong opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing regional contractor delivering projects across the UK. This role offers the chance to lead projects across retail, leisure and care sectors, taking full responsibility for site delivery from groundworks through to completion. The role will involve working on projects nationwide, so flexibility to travel and stay away during the week is essential.

Role Overview

  • Managing day-to-day site operations from start to completion.
  • Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Driving programme and ensuring works are delivered on time.
  • Maintaining strict quality control procedures.
  • Managing client, consultant and supply chain relationships.
  • Overseeing health & safety compliance and site standards.
  • Managing change, variations and site issues.
  • Attending and leading site meetings.
  • Supporting commercial performance through efficient delivery.
  • Coaching and developing site teams.

About You

  • Experience as a Site Manager within a main or regional contractor.
  • Background delivering retail, leisure, care or similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes from groundworks to completion.
  • Experience managing subcontract packages and site teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away during the week.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred).
