Walker & Sloan are working with a respected architectural practice in London that’s looking to add an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to their growing team. This role offers the chance to take the lead on high-end residential and commercial projects, working from developed design through to detailed technical delivery. You'll play a key part in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and coordination of technical information across a variety of exciting, design-led schemes — including listed buildings and complex urban developments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing fully coordinated technical design packages (Revit or AutoCAD)
- Preparing detailed construction drawings and tender documentation
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors
- Attending site visits and contributing to design coordination and problem-solving
- Ensuring all outputs meet UK Building Regs and the practice’s internal quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in UK-based architectural practices
- Strong technical knowledge and confident detailing ability
- Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD (Revit preferred)
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning policy
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
