We’re working with a reputable regional building contractor in Gloucester who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to oversee their general works division, delivering projects typically ranging from £100k to £1.5m. This is a great opportunity to join a stable business that has a strong reputation in the Gloucestershire area. You’ll be involved in both pricing and commercially managing projects across education, healthcare, commercial and public buildings – often negotiated with repeat clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tenders and cost plans for general works and refurb projects
- Taking projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Liaising with site teams and subcontractors to manage cost, value and change
- Working with the Contracts Manager and Director on planning and delivery strategy
