We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to work as part of the Senior Leadership Team leading on our academy ethos and values through developing and ensuring the successful delivery of the personal development, belonging and wellbeing agenda. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual, with a passion and drive for excellence, to take the next step in their career.

Primary responsibilities

  • Leading, managing and developing the personal development and wellbeing agenda including SMSC, PSHE, RSE and careers/work experience provision ensuring students benefit from cultural development, wellbeing and enrichment in line with the latest Ofsted framework.
  • Supporting teachers/students to drive up educational outcomes across the academy.
  • Embedding careers, personal development, belonging and wellbeing across the curriculum, ensuring relevance, progression and aspiration for all students.

Qualifications

Our application will need to demonstrate that you have substantial middle leadership experience in a secondary environment with strong evidence of success and impact, experience of leadership of whole school initiatives and an understanding of best practice and experience of planning effective curriculum programmes to improve personal development and wellbeing.

Salary

L12 - L16 £67,898 - £75,049 per annum (Starting Salary dependent upon experience)
