The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Purpose of the role: Provide a high standard of service to both internal and external clients working in the café and the client floor kitchen. Support the Front of House Manager in the day to day running of the café and the client floor kitchen, for example providing refreshments for meeting rooms, preparing/serving food in the cafe, operating the card payment machine, ensuring the café and surrounding areas are clean and well maintained.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of professionalism at all times to both internal and external clients.
  • Manage the day to day running of the client floor kitchen and meeting rooms.
  • Take delivery and organise the presentation of the lunches and refreshments for the client meeting rooms.
  • Clear meeting rooms of refreshments and lunches during and after meetings.
  • Support with events in the office.
  • Work alongside the Front of House Team to ensure the smooth running and management of the meeting rooms.
  • Manage the day to day running of the Café.
  • Monitoring stock, producing orders which are then approved and ordered by you or the Front of House manager.
  • Handling cash and card payments.
  • Restock products.
  • General upkeep, cleaning and restocking of the vending and coffee machines in the café.
  • Ensure the daily cleanliness of the café and kitchen area.
  • Ensure the correct storage of perishable food items.
  • Assist the Front of House team, working collaboratively to ensure all catering aspects within the café and client floor are met to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that health regulations relating to food hygiene standards are adhered to.
  • Provide and manage sales of sandwiches, confectionary and drinks to staff.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as and when required by the firm.
  • Be professional in all dealings with members of staff and external contacts.
  • Be proactive in relationship management.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm’s standards and procedures, including any WM policies, Lexcel requirements and Code of Conduct regulations.
  • Adhere to the firm’s health and safety policies and other requirements relating to the care of the firm’s equipment both in and outside of the office.

Skills and experience:

  • A level 2 certificate in food hygiene would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working within a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety in relation to catering.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can operate flexibly as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment.
