In this role, you’ll manage the full end‑to‑end plot sales process for your assigned clients, who range from regional housebuilders to major national developers. You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with clients, building strong relationships and contributing to their ongoing success.
As a Plot Sales Conveyancer you will work on a varied portfolio for well-known, national developers including:
- Handing a caseload of new-build plot sales for a variety of regional and national housebuilders and residential developers.
- Handling part-exchange transactions for developers buying and selling part-exchange properties.
- Dealing with transactions for housing associations, legal charges, and all ancillary matters.
- Manage the end-to-end plot sales process for your assigned clients and/or developments, working closely with both the client and the sales team.
- General support on appropriate matters for the Real Estate department.
It’s a cohesive and supportive team where you will be encouraged to develop your career at Walker Morris.
We are looking for:
- ILEX qualification and/or substantial experience of working on a caseload of conveyancing files within a law firm.
- Experience working within a Real Estate or Residential team within a similar role.
- Experience of plot sales is preferred but not essential.
- PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships with stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to organise, plan, prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work confidentially and on highly confidential matters; respecting and maintaining the confidentiality of all information relating to Walker Morris and client matters.
Some of our benefits include:
- Salary reflective of experience.
- Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.
- Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year.
- Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we’ll contribute a minimum of 6% of your salary.
- 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
- Hybrid and flexible working for most roles with a minimum of 40% of your time spent in the office.
