What’s in it for you?

You'll take over an established portfolio while helping expand a trusts offering that is seeing increasing demand from across the wider business, working directly alongside an experienced Partner to shape its long-term success.

  • Inherit an established portfolio from day one - no need to build a client base from scratch
  • Direct access to Partner-level leadership and technically complex advisory work
  • Genuine opportunity to influence the continued growth of a specialist trusts practice
  • Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office

Additional benefits

  • Salary of £67,000 - £72,000
  • 25 days' annual leave plus Christmas closure
  • Private medical insurance, life assurance and income protection
  • Flexible wellbeing and lifestyle benefits

Why this business

This is a nationally recognised professional services firm with a highly regarded private client practice and a long-established reputation for advising high-net-worth individuals, trustees and family wealth structures.

Demand for specialist trusts advice continues to increase, with a growing volume of referrals creating sustained investment in this area of the business. You'll inherit an established portfolio supported by a strong pipeline of ongoing specialist work, allowing you to focus on delivering high-value advice from the outset rather than building a client base.

Opportunities to join specialist trusts teams of this size and quality are uncommon. Working directly alongside an experienced Partner, you'll continue to deepen your technical expertise while playing an influential role in the long-term growth of the practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a portfolio of complex trusts, estates and high-net-worth clients, delivering both compliance and specialist advisory work
  • Advise on a broad range of UK trusts, estates and family wealth structures, combining trust accounts preparation with technically challenging inheritance tax, capital gains tax and private client advisory work
  • Build trusted relationships with trustees, executors and professional advisers, becoming a key technical contact
  • Mentor junior colleagues while supporting the continued growth and development of the specialist trusts team

What you'll bring

  • CTA and/or STEP qualification
  • Strong experience advising on UK trusts and estates, including trust accounts preparation
  • Broad private client tax expertise, including exposure to non-dom and offshore matters, or deep technical experience within trusts
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios, reviewing work and developing junior team members

Who this suits

You're an experienced trusts professional who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to remain close to specialist advisory matters rather than moving into a broad generalist role. You're looking for an environment where your expertise is recognised, your ideas have influence and you can continue developing alongside respected specialists while working on high-quality trusts and estates matters.
