Helping to achieve and maintain our culture of friendly and excellent customer service, by taking personal responsibility and ownership of always delivering to the highest possible standards in all areas to all of our customers.

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that customers are contacted in line with the company’s CRM call schedule.
  • Actively take sales orders whilst upselling products to achieve sales targets and maximise margin.
  • Responsibility for processing sales orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that the transport department obtains the correct data for order picking.
  • Helping to build good customer relations and generate new sales leads.
  • Reporting on sales performance using in-house systems to identify upwards & downwards trends.
  • Proactively contact lapsed customers to increase sales achieving targets set by the company.
  • Working closely with your Senior Telesales / Manager & BDM’s to discuss product information, pricing and out of stock items to ensure customers receive possible alternative options on time for their delivery day.
  • Responsibility for running daily Sage reporting to ensure all sales orders have been dispatched as per date promised, and all back orders have been logged with the new agreed delivery date.
  • Working as part of a team in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Liaising with the Senior Telesales / Manager, BDM’s, and Credit Control regarding any issues with customer accounts including accounts that have exceeded their credit limits or reduced levels of spending and dormant accounts.
  • Working closely with key suppliers, where appropriate. Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Helping to promote internal & supplier offers, such as money off deals and new products.
  • Carrying out this list of duties effectively and efficiently.
