Our client, a global property group, is looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team for an initial period of 4‑6 months. You will provide administrative and transactional support across accounts receivable, credit control and accounts payable. The successful candidate will have previous demonstrable experience in a similar operational finance role. This role requires an immediate start.

The responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support across accounts receivable, credit control and accounts payable.
  • Review and clear bank reconciliations and suspense accounts.
  • Support with operational finance KPI and arrears reporting.
  • Monitor and manage shared finance inboxes.
  • Review and support PO raising and workflows, including amendments and follow‑up.
  • Support invoice processing, customer billing, matching and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and payment records.
  • Assist with cash allocation activities.
  • Support finance teams with ad‑hoc queries, data requests and operational tasks.
  • Assist with legacy projects and backlog clearance.

The skills of the Senior Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience in an operational finance role in a large organisation.
  • Previous experience of accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control.
  • Background in reconciliations, analysis and purchase orders.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and team‑focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience using Yardi Voyager is advantageous.
