Our client is a London-based, high-growth consumer business with an expanding international footprint across Europe and the US. Following continued growth and investment, they are now looking to strengthen their finance function with the addition of a Senior Accountant.

This role will report directly to the UK Finance Director and will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and maintaining strong balance sheet integrity. You will take ownership of month-end close, statutory reporting (UK GAAP & IFRS), and intercompany accounting across multiple entities. The position will also involve supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including oversight of vendor payments and reconciliations, as well as partnering with internal teams and external advisors on audit and tax deliverables. There is a strong focus on process improvement, with the opportunity to enhance controls and procedures within a fast-paced, scaling environment.

Skills

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ experience, ideally gained across a combination of practice and industry. A strong technical grounding in UK GAAP and IFRS is essential, alongside experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. You will be a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of working both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
