Our client is a high-growth advisory firm specialising in M&A and strategic transactions for ambitious founder-led and corporate businesses. With a strong and expanding pipeline of mandates, the firm is continuing to invest in its M&A capability and is now looking to appoint a Partner to help lead the next phase of growth.
This role will sit at the centre of the firm’s M&A offering and will work closely with the existing Partners to shape strategy, manage growth and build the platform. The successful candidate will take a leading role across buy-side and sell-side transactions, working directly with shareholders, management teams and senior stakeholders, while also contributing to the ongoing development of the firm’s proposition, client base and team. The role combines origination, execution and leadership.
You will lead mandates from start to finish, provide oversight across transaction structuring, valuation and deal execution, and maintain responsibility for the quality and delivery of client advice. You will be supported by Associate Directors, Managers and Analysts within the firm, allowing you to focus on client relationships, business development and the progression of complex transactions. You will also play a key role in mentoring senior team members and building capability across the M&A practice.
Skills
- Candidates for this role are expected to be operating at Director or Partner level within M&A, corporate finance or transaction advisory, with a strong personal track record in delivering transactions and developing client relationships.
- Experience advising technology-enabled or high-growth businesses would be advantageous, though not essential.
- Commercial judgement, credibility with clients, and a genuine appetite to help build and scale an advisory business will be critical to success.
This opportunity will appeal to an M&A professional seeking a Partner role with real influence – offering the ability to shape strategy, grow a platform and build something of lasting value within an entrepreneurial and ambitious firm.
