Our client, a fast-growing media company, is looking for a talented Management Accountant to join their London team. The successful individual will have previous experience working within the film and TV industry and be actively working towards an accounting qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments, accruals and fixed asset register.
  • Prepare monthly VAT returns and payroll.
  • Process supplier payments, intercompany transfers and other payment requests.
  • Prepare monthly cost trackers and review against budget.
  • Monitor cash flow and currency needs.
  • Oversight of credit card expenses.
  • Support year end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist with production accounting where necessary.

Skills:

  • Finalist studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in a TV Production company essential.
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in accounting software.
  • Ability to work effectively within finance and across company departments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Experience of monthly payroll would be a distinct advantage.
