The successful candidate for this Senior Project Accountant role will take ownership of project financial performance, ensuring accurate forecasting, effective financial governance and robust commercial reporting while helping operational teams make informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Business partnering with Project Managers and senior stakeholders, providing commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reviewing project performance, identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and supporting actions to improve profitability and cash generation.
- Leading project governance reviews covering project costs, forecasts, margins, cash flow and project close‑out.
- Managing project accounting activities including revenue recognition, WIP, forecasting, invoicing, debt collection and gross profit reporting.
- Preparing high‑quality commercial reporting including revenue forecasts, pipeline analysis, project performance and key business risks.
- Supporting budgeting, pricing, cost‑to‑complete forecasting and post‑project reviews.
- Acting as the primary finance contact for project‑related matters across the European business.
- Driving strong financial controls, governance and continuous improvement across project finance processes.
