Overview

Our client is a leading investor in European tech. Following an impressive run of growth, they are now looking to hire an IR professional to manage communications with investors. They invest in European tech and venture capital opportunities across several different strategies. Over the past ten years they have backed over 50 VC firms and gained exposure to numerous unicorns. Following a period of impressive growth and fundraising success, they are now looking to hire an IR Associate to build and manage relationships with existing LPs, while owning the fundraising systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • You will take ownership of the monthly newsletter and other external communications tasks, and assist in preparing and maintaining all internal and external presentation materials.
  • You will be in regular communication with LPs, supporting with the organisation of quarterly calls and AGMs, and helping with regular calls with investors and strategic partners.
  • You will handle regular investor enquiries and co-ordinate reporting with fund administrators.
  • Finally, you will manage the fundraising software and data infrastructure end-to-end, support on investor identification and outreach, and help partners prepare for meetings.

Requirements

The successful candidate will likely have 2-5 years of investor relations experience, in either investment banking, investment management, or strategy consulting. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and expertise in MS Powerpoint. Strong organisational skills and an interest in technology and investing are absolute prerequisites, while fluency in a European language, particularly German, is preferred.
