Our client is a significant listed group operating across more than 40 markets and partnering with many of the world's most recognised brands. As the business continues to execute its ambitious strategy, a newly enhanced opportunity has arisen for an exceptional finance leader to join the Group Finance function as Group Head of Financial Reporting.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, this is a highly visible role with responsibility for leading the Group's external financial reporting and consolidation activities.
Description
Leading a high‑calibre team, you will take ownership of the Group’s consolidated financial statements and act as the Group’s technical accounting authority, providing guidance on complex and judgemental areas including acquisitions, restructuring activity, impairments, revenue recognition and emerging accounting standards. The role offers significant exposure across the organisation and requires close partnership with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Internal Control, Internal Audit and Regional Finance teams. You will support the CFO, Group Financial Controller, Audit Committee and Board with insightful financial reporting and technical analysis, while driving continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems and data flows to enhance efficiency, quality and scalability.
Skills & Qualifications
This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware qualified accountant to join a global listed business at a key stage in its strategic development. Candidates will bring substantial experience gained within a listed or large multinational environment, with a proven track record in group financial reporting, consolidation and external reporting. Equally important will be your leadership capability. You will have demonstrated success in developing high‑performing teams, influencing senior stakeholders and driving change within complex organisations. Combining intellectual rigour with strong communication skills, you will be capable of translating complex technical matters into clear, practical insights that support effective decision-making.
