Our client is a well-established private family office with a diverse portfolio of entities, distributing £20–25 million annually. This is a broad, hands-on Finance Manager appointment with genuine ownership across all aspects of the finance function.

The finance function sits at the heart of the organisation, and the successful candidate will work closely with the Chief of Staff and Principals, providing the financial rigour and reporting clarity that underpins effective decision-making across the group.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff and Principals, the Finance Manager will take full ownership of financial operations across all entities. Responsibilities span:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction reconciliation
  • Preparation of management accounts and internal financial reports
  • Banking and cash flow management
  • Payment oversight
  • Payroll and PAYE
  • Pension administration
  • VAT returns
  • Tax compliance and audit liaison

The role also involves active use of Notion as the team’s core workflow and productivity platform.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with relevant experience in a Finance Manager role, ideally gained within a family office or similarly complex, multi-entity environment.
