Our client is seeking a Finance Associate to join their established European Finance team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate books and records for the European operations and delivering timely financial reporting. You will work on monthly financial & management accounting, annual financial statements, internal business partnering, and ad hoc analysis and project work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with service providers to ensure an efficient month-end process.
  • Preparing the monthly management reporting pack.
  • Providing ongoing business partnering and commercial support for internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the audit, budgeting, and cash management processes.
  • Ensuring legal, tax, and compliance obligations are met.
  • Enhancing the finance team’s effectiveness by identifying and implementing process efficiencies.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this Finance Associate role will be a recently-qualified accountant (ACA, CA, or equivalent) with strong academics and ideally also financial services audit experience. You will need sound working knowledge of FRS 102, strong problem-solving abilities, effective personal organisation and time management, and good communication skills.
