A scaling special situations investment firm is seeking to hire an experienced financial professional as a Chief Financial Officer (Part-time) to support the future growth of the firm.
Description
Our client is a scaling special situations investment firm with a recent track-record in fundraising.
To support future growth, they are seeking to hire an experienced financial professional as a CFO.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the CEO on the strategic direction of the firm and fundraising, as well as overseeing financial operations and managing relationships with external advisors such as banks and auditors.
The role is part-time and is well-suited to a senior professional with extensive private equity CFO/FD experience, but has the potential to develop into a full-time role as the firm continues to grow.
Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Significant senior experience within private equity, venture capital, private markets, investment funds or asset management.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, partnership structures and investor reporting.
- Experience managing external fund administrators and professional service providers.
- Excellent knowledge of financial controls, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory, tax and governance requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
