Our client, a leading global technology company, is looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their London team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end receivables process and play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's cash flow. The successful candidate will have substantial experience working in a similar role and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Send monthly statements to customers across all regions and take ownership of several Accounts Receivable inboxes.
- Lead the AR review meetings, preparing AR ledgers to present to other teams and senior management.
- Own the billing process at month-end to ensure timely invoicing.
- Complete bank reconciliations at month-end and resolve discrepancies.
- Upload bank statements and post all cash receipts.
- Update daily cash tracker with commentary.
- Chase aged debt and drive collections as well as raising credit notes and responding to ad-hoc queries.
- Handle and resolve internal and customer queries through various channels.
- Support AP and payroll processes when required.
- Assist with cash forecasting, external audits and month-end reporting.
Skills:
- Previous experience working in an end-to-end accounts receivable function.
- Strong Excel skills are essential, and NetSuite experience would be advantageous.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to consistently meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
