This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (Anaplan), while providing critical support across Group FP&A and Group Finance during a period of transformation.

Operating across five global entities and other jurisdictions, you will work closely with senior finance stakeholders to ensure a successful system implementation while maintaining business-as-usual finance activities.

Likely to be an initial 6-month assignment starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • EPM Implementation (Anaplan)
  • Act as the finance lead for the planning and FP&A workstream within the Anaplan implementation, supporting the design of budgeting, forecasting and driver-based planning models.
  • Ensure robust integration between consolidated actuals and planning data, supporting accurate management reporting.
  • Review and validate business requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria across planning, budgeting and management reporting modules.
  • Lead finance user acceptance testing (UAT), including budget versus actual reconciliations, forecast validation and defect identification.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations between source systems, legacy consolidation models and the new EPM platform to ensure data integrity.
  • Document new budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, supporting a seamless transition into BAU.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to ensure local planning and business partnering requirements are reflected within the new system.
  • Group FP&A Support
  • Provide support to the Group FP&A function throughout the implementation period, assisting with monthly planning and reporting activities.
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, commercial insight and business partnering support to senior stakeholders across the Group.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and strategic finance projects as required.
  • Group Finance Support
  • Support elements of the monthly group close and consolidation process across a multi-entity international structure.
  • Provide cover for technical accounting, reconciliations and financial controls activities where required.
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and Corporate Finance team to prioritise and deliver key finance initiatives throughout the implementation.
  • Candidate Profile

The successful candidate for this Interim Group Finance & EPM Implementation Manager role will be a qualified or part-qualified finance professional with a broad skillset spanning FP&A, financial reporting and finance transformation.

You will demonstrate

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Experience within FP&A, corporate finance, group finance or investor reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and financial analysis.
  • Previous involvement in an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation, ideally Anaplan, although experience with TM1, Oracle EPBCS, Adaptive Planning or similar platforms will also be considered.
  • Strong experience of user acceptance testing, financial data reconciliation and finance systems implementation.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to analyse large, complex datasets across multiple entities and currencies.
  • The confidence to operate within a fast-paced, high-growth international environment, bringing structure, problem-solving ability and a collaborative approach to evolving finance processes.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an adaptable finance professional looking to combine finance transformation with commercial and technical finance exposure within a dynamic international business.
