Our client is a leading independent commodity trading company that is growing rapidly both in the UK and internationally. It is highly profitable and has a high-quality and entrepreneurial management team that has ambitions to become a market leader in their areas of expertise.

Description: We are currently looking for a Group Financial Controller to join the financial leadership team in a high-energy, dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Group Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in producing the Group’s financial reporting, planning and budget management in an accurate and timely manner, demonstrating real attention to detail in producing work of the highest quality. You will also support the CFO with ad hoc projects, including acquisitions, debt financing, equity raising and investor relations.

Skills: We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and the ability to business partner a first-class CFO. You should have experience of working within a trading, commodities or wider financial services group and have an appreciation of the qualities required to thrive in such a fast‑paced environment.
