Our client is a leading European alternative investment manager with several billion Euros in assets under management. The firm is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and CFO as part of a fast-paced finance team.
The appointee will be responsible for:
- Preparing the statutory accounts for multiple group entities
- Supporting the monthly consolidation process and taking ownership of areas such as accruals and pre-payments, as well as P&L cost variance reviews
- Supporting the finance team more widely to ensure that external regulatory and tax reporting obligations are met
- Oversight and mentoring of two junior, qualified accountants
- Helping to implement new technologies and systems to automate the above processes
- Supporting other team members in areas such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee expenses and cash management
The appointee will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a few years' experience as a Financial Accountant or Group Financial Accountant in an investment management firm in London. We are also open to considering qualified accountants working in finance teams within corporates in London, but in this instance, it will be essential to be a Big 4 audit trained ACA.
