Our client, a long-established, UK-based engineering group operating within a niche sector, is seeking a commercially astute Divisional Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. As the business continues its evolution towards more sustainable and digitally connected solutions, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a company that operates at the forefront of innovation in its sector.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and regulatory compliance. You will act as a business partner to the executive team to deliver strategic growth and operational efficiency. Key to success in the role will be your ability to provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making across the business. You will also be responsible for managing external relationships with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.

We are seeking a qualified accountant with proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably with some experience within manufacturing, engineering or related sectors. Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels are essential.
