Walker Precision Engineering is a leading provider of advanced, high precision manufacturing services, supporting industries where quality and reliability are critical. We’re now looking to strengthen our Inspection team with a QA Inspector at our Glasgow facility.

The QA Inspector will perform inspections and quality checks on materials, components and finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality products and compliance with relevant regulations.

QA Inspector Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of mechanical or manufactured components
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, gauges, and CMMs
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA records
  • Report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Any other duties as required
QA Inspector Skills & Behaviours:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
QA Inspector Experience:
  • Previous experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Time served is desirable
  • Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
