Walker Precision Engineering is a leading provider of advanced, high precision manufacturing services, supporting industries where quality and reliability are critical. We’re now looking to strengthen our Inspection team with a Customer Eyes Inspector at our Glasgow facility.

The Customer Eyes Inspector will perform inspections and quality checks on materials, components and finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality products and compliance with relevant regulations.

Customer Eyes Inspector Responsibilities:

  • Conduct final inspection on finished, painted/plated and assembled manufactured products
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres & gauges
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA records
  • Report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Any other duties as required

Customer Eyes Inspector Skills & Behaviours:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Customer Eyes Inspector Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Customer Eyes Inspector in a manufacturing/engineering/finishing environment
  • Time served is desirable
  • Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
