Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are expanding our workforce and have an exciting opportunity to join our Basildon team as a CNC Machine Operator.
As CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for producing products against designs and to quality standards.
CNC Machine Operator Key Responsibilities:- Loading materials and unloading finished products
- Cut, grind or drill materials in machine as required – adjusting speeds, cutter paths and other machine settings as required
- Maintaining an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs
- Machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
- Ensures machines are well stocked with tools and material to ensure limited downtime
- Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods
- Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
- Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
