EMEA Capital Markets – Walker&Dunlop provides capital solutions across the commercial real‑estate spectrum, bringing expertise in debt, equity, and M&A to the hotel sector in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, and broader EMEA.

Senior Analyst – EMEA Hotels Investment & Sales. Provide rigorous analytical and transactional support across live hotel mandates and the debt platform. Build and maintain financial models, conduct market research, prepare pitch and marketing materials, and support due‑diligence processes. This position offers a clear development path to Associate Director.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain hotel financial models (DCF, yield‑based valuation, debt sizing, sensitivity analysis).
  • Produce first‑draft investment memoranda, pitch books, teaser documents, and market presentations.
  • Conduct hotel market research using CoStar, STR, MSCI Real Capital Analytics and other data sources.
  • Prepare comparable transaction analyses and operator benchmarking for live mandates and new business pitches.
  • Manage and maintain the EMEA pipeline tracker and CRM database.
  • Support due‑diligence by coordinating data room preparation, information requests and document management.
  • Monitor hotel transaction activity across EMEA and contribute to regular market intelligence summaries.
  • Assist the senior team across pitches, client meetings and transaction workstreams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required – preference for finance, real estate, economics or hospitality management.
  • 2–4+ years in real‑estate advisory, investment banking, hotel consultancy or a closely related analytical role.
  • Hospitality or commercial real‑estate finance background preferred.
  • CFA progress or MRICS candidacy a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced Excel financial modelling skills; PowerPoint to a client‑ready standard; ARGUS a plus.
  • Familiarity with CoStar, STR or MSCI Real Capital Analytics preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a track record of delivering polished work under time pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; ability to learn Salesforce and other company software.
  • Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time‑sensitive situations.
  • Commercial curiosity and genuine interest in the hotel investment market.
  • Capability to show ownership of work, take on challenges, acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience learning new processes.
