Key Responsibilities
- AR duties to include, but not limited to, posting of cash receipts, customer reconciliations, chasing outstanding debtors and processing manual credit card payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Releasing of orders for sales support team in accordance with the guidelines of the credit control.
- Support the AP & AR Manager to ensure the Accounts Payable function runs smoothly with all purchase invoices entered into the Sage X3 ERP system in a timely and efficient manner and to ensure the monthly payment run to Group and third parties is accurate and on time.
- Support the Senior Accounts Assistant in processing travel expenses through Concur, reconciliation of company credit cards, payment of expenses and the monthly expense reporting.
- Assist with the reconciliation of the recharge accounts.
- Assist with multi-currency bank reconciliations covering USD, EUR, GBP and JPY.
- Assist the Finance Manager with monthly reporting of the German and Italian branches.
- Assist with the year end audit.
- Any other duties and tasks which may be required by the Manager or the Company.
Successful Applicant
- Started study of ACCA or CIMA – foundation level.
- Minimum 12 months experience within an accounts environment.
- Willingness to learn.
- Professional manner.
- Hard worker and reliable.
- Must thrive in environment driven by tight schedules/deadlines and to deliver results.
- Ability to work on own initiative but also a good team player.
- Accounting system exposure preferably to SAGE X3 but not essential.
- Basic to intermediate level for Microsoft office (365).
