Walker Cole International is searching for a Senior Clinical Quality Assurance Manager to join a rapidly expanding international Pharmaceutical business based in the UK. In this position, you will play a key leadership role within the global quality function, overseeing the delivery of UK and EU compliance services whilst supporting global quality initiatives across a diverse portfolio. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced GCP Quality professional looking to progress into a senior leadership role with future progression pathways made transparent. The role can be based remotely with some travel across the UK and Europe, with occasional international travel.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and perform a range of GCP audit programmes covering clinical studies, service providers, quality systems, and operational processes.
- Evaluate and strengthen quality systems through various assessments and improvements.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the global quality function, supporting the development of new initiatives.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal quality processes to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to colleagues, supporting capability development across the wider compliance team.
The successful candidate will have:
- An academic background in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline, with postgraduate qualifications considered advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience leading and executing GCP audits across clinical trial operations, vendors, CROs, suppliers, and quality systems.
- Strong understanding of international GCP regulations and expectations within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environments.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence interacting at all organisational levels.
- Professional GCP training and certification, alongside a commitment to maintaining current regulatory knowledge.
