We are hiring a Microbiology Manager for a leading biopharmaceutical company to lead their QC Microbiology team of 15+. You will drive regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within a cGMP environment, ensuring reliable delivery of microbiological testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the QC Microbiology team, managing workloads, training, and performance.
- Plan and coordinate lab schedules, resources, and projects to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee investigations into OOS, OOT, OOE results, quality events, and change controls.
- Provide technical expertise in microbiological methods and support regulatory submissions and inspections.
- Maintain validated microbiological methods, monitor KPIs, and support audits to ensure GMP and EHS compliance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in a cGMP-regulated microbiology lab (pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical).
- In-depth knowledge of microbiological testing methods, including sterility, EM, endotoxin, and bioburden.
