Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality Control to join a Pharmaceutical company based in South East of England. As the Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading a growing team and commissioning a GMP laboratory.
Your responsibilities as the Head of Quality Control will be:
- Lead, develop and recruit a team of QC Scientists and Team Leaders.
- Oversee all budget and executive responsibilities.
- Ensure all testing is carried out with properly developed, validated and approved methods in accordance to cGMP/Good Manufacturing Practice and ISO guidelines.
- Work cross functionally with project management and production to support seasonal and periodic increases in workload.
- Be a key member of the site leadership team.
The successful candidate for the Head of Quality Control will be:
- Degree, Masters or PhD educated in life sciences.
- Extensive pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry experience.
- Quality Control leadership skills at Manager or Team Leader level.
- Subject Matter Expertise in Environmental Monitoring/Sterility Assurance is highly desirable.
