Walker Cole are representing a growing pharmaceutical organisation in hiring a Tech Transfer Manager, supporting technical operations across a portfolio of commercial products. This role focuses on the delivery of technical projects across external manufacturing partners, covering tech transfer, lifecycle activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across API and finished products.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead execution of technical projects across external manufacturing organisations (CMOs).
- Act as the primary point of contact for project delivery, ensuring timelines, cost, and quality are met.
- Support selection, qualification, and management of manufacturing partners.
- Own technical investigations (deviations), CAPAs, and change control activities.
- Provide technical stewardship across commercial products and processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost-saving, and optimisation initiatives.
- Support technical due diligence and integration of new products.
Requirements:
- Experience within pharmaceutical technical operations (MSAT, process development, manufacturing, or similar).
- Strong background in tech transfer and/or project delivery across CMOs.
- Understanding of GMP, CMC, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and project ownership skills.
