We are currently supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in North Yorkshire with an exciting opportunity for a QC Microbiology Manager to join their growing quality function.
As a QC Microbiology Manager, you will:
- Lead the QC microbiology laboratory and ensure smooth day to day testing operations
- Oversee environmental monitoring and microbiological testing, including bioburden and LAL
- Lead and support investigations including OOS, deviations and environmental excursions
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and development to the microbiology team
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the introduction of new methods and technologies
- Work closely with manufacturing and QA teams to support batch release and site quality standards
What we are looking for:
- Strong QC microbiology experience within a GMP pharmaceutical environment
- Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring and bioburden testing
- Experience with investigations, SOPs and quality systems
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a managerial role
