Job Description

Walker Cole International is working with a global pharmaceutical company focused on delivering high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients to patients worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their QC Technical Services Team as a Senior QC Analyst (Validation) on a temporary basis, supporting validation and analytical transfer within a GMP environment.

In this role as Senior QC Analyst – Validation, you’ll:

  • Lead and support validation and analytical transfer activities across QC for new and existing clients.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to equipment and analytical techniques, ensuring minimal disruption to laboratory operations.

  • Perform a broad range of QC testing, including raw material, API, drug product, packaging, in-process samples, and cleaning validation.

  • Own analytical validation projects, preparing and reviewing relevant documentation in line with regulatory standards.

  • Provide training and mentorship in validation procedures across the QC team.

  • Collaborate with QA to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement within the lab.

  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation in accordance with GMP requirements and support wider lab improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in a scientific discipline.

  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical QC setting, with hands-on knowledge of HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, PXRD, or DSC.

  • Strong understanding of analytical method validation and transfer.

  • Working knowledge of GMP and regulatory standards.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
