Walker Cole International is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to appoint a Responsible Person (RP) to strengthen their GDP compliance function. This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of the company’s wholesale distribution activities, ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.
As an RP, you will be responsible for:
- Leading GDP compliance and maintaining a robust Quality Management System to support safe and compliant distribution activities.
- Approving suppliers, customers, and quality agreements while overseeing key operational partners.
- Managing complaints, recalls, investigations, and product disposition decisions to safeguard product quality and patient safety.
- Acting as the primary point of contact with the MHRA and ensuring the WDA(H) remains fully compliant and up to date.
To be successful as a Responsible Person, you will have:
- Eligibility to act as a Responsible Person with strong knowledge of UK/EU GDP and wholesale distribution requirements.
- Experience within pharmaceutical quality, distribution, or supply chain, with confidence managing audits and regulatory interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to influence across operational and quality teams.
- A detail-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
