Walker Cole International is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a QA Lead to take ownership of the Quality Management System and lead the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s electronic QMS (eQMS). This role plays a critical part in ensuring GMP compliance, inspection readiness, and effective quality systems governance across the business.
As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Owning and leading day-to-day QMS activities, including oversight of GMP documentation, batch-related records, and key quality system deliverables.
- Managing and governing core QMS processes, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and document control in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Leading the eQMS implementation and lifecycle management, including validation, testing, data migration, user training, and system adoption.
- Partnering with QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to drive quality system effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful as a Quality Assurance Lead, you will have:
- Strong experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QA environment, with demonstrable ownership of QMS processes.
- Proven involvement in eQMS implementation, upgrade, or optimisation projects within a regulated setting.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems, regulatory expectations, and data integrity principles.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
