Walker Cole International is partnering with a global pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a GDP Specialist to support their UK Responsible Persons (RPs) and strengthen the company’s distribution compliance function. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with RP teams in both the UK and Europe, contributing to the maintenance of robust GDP standards across multiple markets.
As a GDP Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting UK RPs in day-to-day GDP activities, ensuring wholesale distribution operations remain compliant with the company’s WDA(H).
- Assisting with documentation management, deviations, change controls, and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System.
- Conducting supplier and customer checks, reviewing compliance documentation, and supporting qualification activities across the UK and Europe.
- Collaborating with wider European quality teams to align processes, prepare for inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful as a GDP Specialist, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a GDP-regulated pharmaceutical environment and exposure to supporting Responsible Persons.
- Strong understanding of UK/EU GDP requirements with confidence working under an established Quality Management System.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across UK and European teams.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and support compliance activities in a fast-paced setting.
