Quality Assurance Specialist
Walker Cole International is partnering with an innovative UK pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Quality Specialist. This role will play a key part in maintaining GMP compliance and inspection readiness across a state‑of‑the‑art laboratory operation.
Responsibilities
Maintain and develop the GMP Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing inspection readiness
Manage Quality Events, including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
Write, review, and maintain SOPs, records, and controlled documentation in line with GDP
Support and oversee self‑inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Work cross‑functionally with Production, Quality Control, Growing, and Commercial teams to support safe and efficient product release
Support supplier and customer approval activities and liaise with external QA functions
Qualifications
Strong understanding of GMP compliance and inspection readiness
Hands‑on experience managing a QMS and Quality Events
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑growing manufacturing environment
Relevant Life‑sciences or equivalent bachelor\’s degree
